Created with data collected by the Huygens Descent Imager this movie depicts the view from Huygens during the last few hours of it's descent onto the surface of Titan in January of 2005.
There are incredible mountain ranges blanketed by clouds and sandy dunes, not what one would expect of a moon.
What's even more surprising is that there is a massive city right before us. Buildings, boats upon waterways, structures, everything you would see in a sprawling metropolis. There appear to be islands, harbors, and docks. The aerial view is similar to what you would see when looking at any harbor city on earth.
We see countless crafts spewing ejecta and buildings with lights pouring out of them.
The similarity to looking at earth cities from above is startling.
So much so, that I must question whether these images were taken on Titan, one of Saturn's moons or earth.
